Sole Centered Foot Care provides mobile services in private residences, retirement homes, hospitals, LTC facilities and pop-up clinics within the Ottawa region. We also commute to some outskirts. Give us a call, we are ready to serve you in the comfort of your home. 

Though we do not have a clinic, we offer community clinics around the city. Contact us for more information.

Sole Centered Foot Care is a mobile service primarily offering foot care in the comfort of your home. To prepare for our visit, you simply need a comfortable chair, with adequate lighting available. We provide the rest.

If you are a veteran, you may be covered. Please check with your provider to be certain that your benefits include medical foot care services. We are a Blue Cross approved provider and can submit these claims directly.

No. Anyone with foot ailments or believe they may have foot problems can book an appointment online. If you’re not sure about which foot problem you may have, book a foot consultation with a foot care nurse first.

If you have medical benefits, you may need a referral from your primary physician requesting in home nursing services to cover a portion of the cost. Most insurance providers will cover up to 80%. To verify if you are covered, contact your private insurance.

At Sole Centered Foot Care, we take infection control seriously. We ensure that our medical devices meet the CSA standards, and we follow guidelines set out by Public Health Ontario and IPAC Canada. Our tools are sterile until point of use, autoclaved, and or disposable. Our foot care nurses are more than happy to discuss any questions you may have regarding the disinfection and sterilization of your tools.

No, our foot care nurses do not provide pedicures. Foot care nurses provide medical foot care treatments only. It is required that foot care nurses are register with their provincial licensing body, like CNO . They are trained in foot care beyond their program and provide lower limb assessments, diabetic screenings, and laser wart removal. At Sole Centered Foot Care, we do not paint nails or soak feet.

Pedicures typically performed by a nail technician at a nail salon/spa are generally for asthetic purposes. They will perform basic foot care techniques like a trim or file, but they are not registered health professionals. Nail salons, technicians, or aestheticians are not trained to notice any health problems, and can not work with high risk clients like diabetics.
